HAIR RECESSION????

Women everywhere are apparently still spending on life's little luxuries recession or not..... According to numerous surveys conducted we are still continuing to spend, spend and spend.... and what exactly are we mainly spending on, HAIR, SHOES, NAILS & BAGS. I have to openly confess I make up one of those on these numerous surveys, it’s almost as though a little demon gets a hold of me every time I see another item in the above category that I just have to have!!! Sound familiar, and if for some reason I can't afford it then, I leave with a solemn promise to return to get the coveted item. Another thing I'm obsessed with is my hair and nails. I am solidly behind the belief that when you look nice, you feel better about yourself. Ever got up and felt like you need a change, suddenly everything just looked old and boring, well we all know a "NEW LOOK" is one of the quick "FIX A UPPERS" as my sister would say, not denying the fact that some people may need a whole lot more change than just a hairdo but we can’t deny the feeling you get when you look in the mirror at your latest do and you're ecstatic and can't wait to get out there and show it off or the first thing on your to do list for that special occasion is your hair. What am I saying in short is the "HAIR DO" remains a priority for many women recession or not... So I thought I would put together my tips on how to switch up your looks on a cost effective scale.

The weave for now is taking a back seat for many as women now look at the convenience of the wig. After all, all you do is corn row your hair down and shove it on and the maintenance is fairly cheaper than the upkeep of the weave. Incidentally due to the new phenomenon of having weaves that have a proper "closing" you might as well be in a wig, then again some may feel that the weave looks more realistic and this may be true in some instances pending on the type of wig and the brand and quality purchased and of course your hair and length, as there are so many other options if you have long healthy hair. Nonetheless the wig is undoubtedly a money saver... and if you purchase two and interchange them and comb them out properly they are a sure bet to get you through an at least four months and more...

My other money saver is the good old Ponytail, this little Hair Piece remains a staple in any women's hair collection for those days when you are transitioning from one look to another or need a quick fix for an evening out and you couldn't make it to the salon, this is the ultimate saver and winner. If you have fairly long hair you can add a few rows on the front and create a fringe and best of all it’s a "home fix" no salons necessary here, costs are cut. The invention of the Half wig makes it all the more convenient now you can have the ponytail and turn around and create a weaved look within seconds. The secret here is the blending ladies always have a good glaze on hand so when you use your curling iron you’re relaxed or natural hair takes on the shiny glossy and bone straight look of the weave.

My other saver is the 7 minute weaves which is still new but definitely a good option, for those that don't like the wig and couldn't be bothered with the ponytail, just part your hair and clip it in and go what could be more convenient than that??? and this can carry you for at least a couple of months as you can maintain and grow out your own hair while having the weaved look at the drop of a hat... No Salon Run here too BIG COST CUTTER!!!

Bottom line the Hair world is offering so many lines that can save you a pretty penny and last longer pending your budget, the trick is shop around first, opt for hair styles that are easy to maintain and if you're a chameleon like me, looks that give the option to "switch it up"

Hello. My wife and I bought our house about 6 months ago. It was a foreclosure and we were able to get a great deal on it. We also took advantage of the 8K tax credit so that definitely helped. We did an extensive remodeling job and now I want to refinance to cut the term to a 20 or 15 year loan. Does anyone know any good sites for mortgage information? Thanks!
